Osseo100 measures implant stability and osseointegration and thus provides an answer to the question of when an implant can be loaded. This is particularly important when the protocol requires a shorter treatment time or when treating high-risk patients
The uncomplicated process by which the ISQ value is measured makes it possible to plan the loading phase of the implant at an early stage. Measurements can be taken without unnecessary interference because the measuring device is not brought into physical contact with the implant or implant structure.
The MulTipeg™ is connected to the implant. It can be easily screwed into the internal thread of the implant. (torque approx. 6-8 Ncm)
Simply point Osseo 100 at the magnet on the top of the MulTipeg. Non-invasive, objective, accurate and repeatable. The peg is activated by magnetic pulses and vibrates due to the stiffness in the contact area between the bone and the surface of the implant.
An ISQ value is generated and shown on the display. This represents the degree of stability on the universal ISQ scale - between 1 and 99. The higher the ISQ value, the more stable the implant.
