The PERform PPA 6 is a pressure polymerisation unit specially developed for versatile, professional use in dental laboratories. Due to the high operating pressure of max. 6 bar (individually adjustable), extremely good physical values of the resin are achieved.
The polymerisation temperature can be individually adjusted to the resin (max. 90 °C). Visible temperature control. (Target and actual temperature are displayed.) The large vessel volume and the large lid opening mean that work can also be polymerised in the articulator.
When fabricating dentures with the PERform-Inkovac system, it is possible to polymerise three flasks simultaneously. With the Hedent flask clamp, up to two bronze flasks can be processed using the conventional tamping-pressing technique (hot polymerisation). The device is suitable for completions, repairs, relinings, extensions and for pressure investment of investment materials. The base of the bowl is specially reinforced. This prevents material fatigue due to constant pressurisation. The heating is located in the vessel and therefore guarantees a direct temperature supply. The polymerisation time can be set individually. Long-term polymerisation is also possible thanks to a special function. No pressure loss when the compressor is switched off during the polymerisation process. The device complies with the Pressure Vessel Ordinance.
Hedent continuously pays attention to the use of high-quality materials in the manufacture of appliances. The company always endeavours to assess new experiences with its own products and to introduce improvements into production. The requirements for material testing are always higher than the prescribed standards. For example, the statics of the PPA pressure vessel were tested at 5 times the operating pressure (standard 1.5 times the operating pressure) and the cover plate is no longer cast, but CNC-milled from solid material. This prevents leakage due to gas inclusions (blowholes). The PPA's closing device has multiple safety features so that pressurisation is only possible if the cover is closed in accordance with regulations.
