The HSS-88 has a high-torque motor with 3000 min-1 for maximum grinding speed. Due to its squirrel-cage technology, the motor is completely wear and maintenance-free. The motor is cooled via the outer casing, so there is no possibility of contamination via the fan. The unit runs quietly and completely vibration-free and gets its maximum stability from the high dead weight of the aluminium die-cast housing. The worktable is made of oxidation-free stainless steel, the slotted holes and the lateral openings prevent the water from overflowing. The unit has a powerful disc and interior flushing system and a large grinding opening. The disc housing is easy to open thanks to the star handles on the back. Secure sealing is achieved by applying a special grease to the plane-ground housing parts. No rubber seal is required. No rubber seal is required. The easy-to-clean plastic-coated housing is splash-proof to IP 54.
The HSS-88 is equipped with a solenoid valve for automatic water supply as standard. The water supply is located in the centre of the unit. The drainage nozzle can be selected via 2 positions.
